En cuanto al uso, mejoramiento o creación de las imágenes hay consenso en prohibir el uso de IAG. Existen herramientas como Proofig (https://www.proofig.com/)  que revisan y detectan la integridad de las imágenes e informan si éstas son reales o alteradas.
